The role will deputise for the Associate Director, British Isles Wealth FIU.</p><p></p><p>Should you be shortlisted for interview, do advise if you require any reasonable adjustments.</p><p></p><p>This is a full time, permanent role and will require 4 days in our 100 Bishopsgate, London office.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>What will you do?</b></p><ul><li><p>Deputising for Associate Director, Wealth FIU in meeting all regulatory and legislative requirements;</p></li><li><p>Leading on aspects of the development of global investigations frameworks;</p></li><li><p>Leading on aspects of the development of global investigations initiatives;</p></li><li><p>Investigating complex caseloads;</p></li><li><p>Investigating transaction monitoring and name screening escalations;</p></li><li><p>Providing responses to Regulatory Authorities and Law Enforcement Agencies, as required;</p></li><li><p>Providing AML counsel and guidance to Front Office, Compliance, Legal, Operations and other functions on the firm's suspicious activity reporting framework;</p></li><li><p>Production of accurate MI and Management Reporting.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>What do you need to succeed?</b></p><p></p><p><b>Must-have</b></p><ul><li><p>Strong experience of conducting money laundering / terrorist financing investigations (a background in either law enforcement or financial services environment);</p></li><li><p>Very good understanding of the UK and international AML and CTF, Economic Sanctions and ABAC legal and regulatory environment;</p></li><li><p>Strong technical product knowledge across Wealth Management offerings;</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal skills;</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and investigation skills;</p></li><li><p>Ability to understand and articulate financial crime risks as perceived in specific cases and more broadly;</p></li><li><p>Excellent attention to detail;</p></li><li><p>Ability to influence and direct internal and external colleagues;</p></li><li><p>Flexibility in attitude and approach;</p></li><li><p>Initiative and organisation.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Nice-to-have</b></p><ul><li><p>The AML Associate Director will ideally possess or will be working towards a relevant qualification in product mechanics (i.e. CISI Diploma in Wealth Management).</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>What is in it for you?</b></p><p></p><p>We thrive on the challenge to be our best - progressive thinking to keep growing and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
