In return, we'll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. Job Summary This role will drive business performance by enhancing the effectivity of global DSA Commercial. In turn this will generate sequential revenue growth, margin development and shareholder value. The role necessitates a deep reach into the organization to deliver meaningful impact that enhances the operation through step change. This role requires leadership, strategic guidance, performance management, team collaboration, financial and management reporting acumen. You will represent DSA Commercial Finance in regional and global forums. You have experience with running a business and your input is not limited to Finance. You can understand complex business models, implement them, drive change and lead with influence. You are comfortable in "pushing back" and driving unpopular decisions if needed. Most importantly you are hands on, can deal with complex excel models, create pivots, charts, PowerPoint presentations, mine data in SAP/BI systems and at the same time lift from the detail and provide the "helicopter view". You are a business partner and understand key developments in both commercial teams and at the operational sites not limited to Finance. You understand the business just as well as Commercial leadership and partner with Commercial team members on a regular (daily) basis. You are accountable and take ownership in overall success within DSA not limited to finance. You are comfortable presenting in multiple forums where you are at times not familiar with the audience. You can convey a sense of purpose, urgency and authority and collaboratively lead cross functional groups towards a common goal. The role directs resources to support the overall execution of the commercial operation including go-to market strategy, action-oriented analysis and client benefiting process effectiveness. You influence and develop project capabilities essential to the global commercial team. Key efforts include commercial client processes and analytical tools optimization, reporting and measurement of KPI's, and technology infrastructure design. Elevating the commercial function to deliver for both internal and external customers whilst providing strategic guidance to support Commercial direction setting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Enhance Commercial Analytics:
Produce new and enhanced meaningful management reporting including long-range forecasting KPI's for senior management review and action.
Pricing Models:
Develop and evolve pricing insights and strategies to enhance profitability. Lead initiatives to advance novel analytical capabilities and insights.
Price-volume-mix-analysis:
Own revenue and margin analytics, including price-volume-mix-analysis.
Enhance Data Integrity:
Drive one source of truth of data consistency across systems and segmentations to support consistent and accurate reporting (CRM, ERP, BI systems etc).
Deepen Forecast Insights:
Reconciling and explaining client slippage in backlogs on a routine basis to identify client trends and patterns to improve forecast reliability.
Client Forecast Evolution:
Support the weekly, monthly, quarterly rolling forecast, annual plan submissions and sequentially enhance team understanding of client behavior.
Commercial Business Partnering:
Support analyzing Opportunities, Proposals and Bookings in the CRM with the Commercial function to generate sales focus.
Enhance Commercial Analytics:
Produce new and enhanced meaningful management reporting including long-range forecasting KPI's for senior management review and action.
Enhance Data Integrity:
Drive one source of truth of data consistency across systems and segmentations to support consistent and accurate reporting (CRM, ERP, BI systems etc).
Executive Reporting:
Support forecast variance analysis, commentary, Business Review bridges.
Strategic Planning:
Deliver the annual long-range financial plan and strat planning cycle with executive leadership, helping advance the commercial direction and client strategy.
Job Qualifications Experience:
Seven plus years of similar related experience in an international environment, background could be commercial sales or finance. FP&A/commercial finance exposure and P&L ownership.
Education:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in business or related discipline preferred. Qualified Accountant beneficial - CPA/ACCA/ICAS/ICAEW/CIMA or equivalent An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Skills:
Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentation abilities required. Tangible understanding and experience of ERP, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence systems incl. financial reporting, PowerBI and CRM systems. Accustomed to communicating and reporting to senior management. Supervisory and/or people management experience advantageous.
COMMENTS
This position may require occasional domestic and/or international travel (e.g. to CRL or client venues). Position will work remote, from home office located in North America. Compensation Data The pay range for this position is $120K - 140K USD annually. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
