Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate Community Advocate to join us and help build, nurture, and scale our Discord community from the ground up—making Recraft not just a tool, but a vibrant home for creators

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the entire discord community experience: from onboarding new users to launching events, moderating discussions, and gathering feedback.
  • Creating and curating educational and inspiring content (tutorials, guides, success stories).
  • Set up processes to collect, analyze, and act on community sentiment, issues, and suggestions.
  • Design and run engaging events (AMAs, challenges, workshops) that foster engagement and drive user delight.
  • Build and maintain channels, roles, bots, and guidelines tailored for different user segments—novices, pro designers, power users.
  • Monitor community health through qualitative and quantitative metrics, and iterate on strategy accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and UX teams to feed community insights into the product roadmap.
  • Be the voice of our users—champion their needs, share stories, and ensure their voices shape Recraft’s evolution

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience managing Discord communities, preferably in creative, tech, or design-driven products.
  • Excellent communication skills—both in writing and voice settings—warm, welcoming, with a touch of wit.
  • Experience running virtual interactions—events, live streams, contests—and managing bots or integrations.
  • Strong empathy for creators, familiarity with design workflows, and a genuine love for community building.
  • Familiar with community analytics tools or capable of setting up dashboards—from Discord itself or tools like Guilded, Apollo, Orbit.
  • Strong sense of what drives engagement and retention in vibrant online communities.
