We are recruiting for a newly created Consultancy Manager (Strategic Projects) role within a highly respected consultancy environment that delivers complex, high-impact projects across industry, government and academia.

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team and play a pivotal role throughout the full project lifecycle – from supporting the development of commercially robust proposals through to providing ongoing commercial and financial oversight during delivery.

  • Support the development of commercially robust proposals and bid submissions
  • Identify, assess and help mitigate commercial, financial and delivery risks
  • Provide ongoing commercial and financial support throughout project delivery
  • Monitor project performance against financial assumptions and support forecasting and change control activities
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully and sustainably
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, processes and commercial tools

About You

We are interested in speaking with candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Experience within project management, consulting, commercial management, bid management, project controls or a related environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent numerical skills
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
  • Experience working with project budgets, forecasting, pricing or commercial analysis
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively

This role could be particularly well suited to a Project Manager looking to move into a more commercially focused position, a Commercial Analyst seeking greater project ownership, or a Bid/Proposal professional wanting broader involvement across project delivery.

What's on Offer

  • Salary of £45,000 - £56,000 depending on experience
  • Performance-related bonus scheme
  • Generous holiday allowance
  • Defined benefit pension scheme
  • Hybrid working
  • Excellent professional development opportunities
  • Exposure to high-profile and intellectually stimulating projects
