You’ll be hands-on with day-to-day Finance Ops while steering key processes that keep us compliant, efficient, and ready for the next stage of growth.

What You’ll Own: Accuracy. Insight. Leadership.

Lead the Numbers Game - You’ll be the go-to person for all things finance and make sure everything adds up - from monthly reconciliations to strategic insights that help guide big decisions.

Financial Stewardship - Lead the accounting and consolidation process, making sure every figure reconciles perfectly
Tell the Story Behind the Data - Turn rows of numbers into insights our leaders can act on
Run the Finance Engine - Manage virtual spend programs, payroll, vendor payments - smooth, on time, and accurate
Team Leadership - Manage, motivate, and develop a small but mighty finance team
Upgrade How We Work - Spot inefficiencies, lead tool transitions, and make finance ops faster and smarter to create systems that scale as we grow

Are you our next Finance Mind behind the mission?

We’re looking for someone who’s as comfortable rolling up their sleeves on reconciliations as they are communicating the company’s financial health to leadership.

What Makes You Perfect for This Role:

  • 2+ years as a Finance Manager (or similar) - you’ve run the show before with deep experience in financial accounting, analysis & reporting
  • 2+ years in Finance Operations - you know payroll, virtual spend programs & reconciliations inside out
  • You’ve led at least one team member and loved mentoring them
  • You’re officially certified - CA(SA), CIMA, CPA, ACA, ACCA (or an equivalent accounting designation)
  • Articulate and approachable - you make finance understandable, explaining complex numbers simply and clearly, and turning data into meaningful narratives
  • Detail-obsessed (every decimal counts!) but you also zoom out to connect those details to the bigger picture
  • Comfortable living in Google Sheets - you can create, clean up, and collaborate on spreadsheets like a pro, keeping data accurate and accessible for the whole team.”

Bonus points if you:

  • Have SaaS or tech industry experience
  • Hands-on knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Experience leading finance ops projects (e.g. payroll tool transitions, accounting automation, etc.)
  • Thrives in a remote-first environment
  • Extra kudos if you’ve worked with tools like Bill.com, Ramp, or reporting dashboards like Tableau or Power BI - and can translate all those rows and charts into something people can actually use.
