HR Assistant / Onsite Recruiter

Internal role supporting our client’s logistics warehouse
Wichita, KS

Pay: $25/hr
Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with some weekends as needed

Position Summary

The HR Assistant / Onsite Recruiter serves as the primary liaison between our client and the contingent workforce. This role supports daily HR operations, recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance. You will also oversee the successful implementation, training, and use of the JobandTalent (JT) App to ensure accurate timekeeping, smooth communication, and efficient workforce management.

Workforce Management & Recruiting

  • Manage daily attendance, scheduling, and shift coverage
  • Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding
  • Ensure employee profiles, badges, and system entries are completed before start dates
  • Support recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews, job postings, and candidate communication
  • Monitor headcount, service levels, and productivity trends
  • Address attendance issues, policy violations, and terminations when needed
  • Ensure proper timekeeping practices (no offsite clock-ins/outs, documented edits, lunch compliance, etc.)

JobandTalent (JT) App Implementation & Management

  • Lead onboarding and adoption of the JT App for all new and current associates
  • Ensure employees download, activate, and properly log into the app
  • Train associates on clock‐in/out procedures, profile updates, and communication features
  • Monitor app compliance and follow up with employees who miss required steps
  • Troubleshoot login, profile, and timekeeping issues
  • Ensure all workforce data is accurate and up to date in the JT platform
  • Promote consistent use of the app for communication, scheduling, and updates

Employee Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions or concerns
  • Assist with timecard corrections and payroll‐related inquiries
  • Support engagement, retention, and performance improvement efforts
  • Enforce attendance and workplace policies professionally and consistently

Client Relations

  • Maintain daily communication with client leadership
  • Provide updates on headcount, attendance, attrition, and workforce performance
  • Participate in walk‐throughs and operational meetings
  • Communicate staffing needs and recruitment goals proactively

Compliance & Administrative Duties

  • Ensure completion of background checks, drug screens, and E‐Verify
  • Maintain accurate documentation and trackers (attendance, terminations, performance)
  • Document time edits, disciplinary actions, and policy violations
  • Track and report turnover and operational metrics
