<strong>Job Requisition ID #<br><br></strong>26WD99435<br><br><strong>Position Overview<br><br></strong>The Sales Specialist for the Illinois and Wisconsin based territory will be responsible for driving new business and expansion business in Construction, Architecture, Engineering and Owner accounts to meet/exceed financial and business objectives. This is a quota carrying role with compensation in the form of base salary and commission. Performance is measured by meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets by up-selling, add-on sale, and cross-selling collaboratively with our business partners in each account.<br><br>This position reports to a Sales Manager and will work closely with Inside Sales, Product Specialists, Account Based Marketing, Channel Partners, Business Strategy and Customer Success Teams. Requires up to 30% Travel. This is a remote position.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Create new business by prospecting into and expanding existing accounts</li><li>Manage renewals in accounts with a focus on expansion</li><li>Create, maintain, and grow a healthy opportunity pipeline within accounts and use sound activity/call planning to drive week-over-week results</li><li>Document and follow up in sales system using sales methodology, moving opportunities through proper opportunity stages to closed/won</li><li>Ability to extract customer-required capabilities and positive business outcomes by translating customer challenges and opportunities into unique value</li><li>Manage accounts through the entire sales process and post-sale coordination of customer success engagement to deliver positive customer outcomes</li><li>Outside field sales position, physically at customer location for business development, prospecting, and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support</li><li>Deliver an accurate weekly, monthly & quarterly forecast</li><li>Partner collaboratively with channel partners to increase new revenue and expand current customers</li><li>Negotiate deals and contracts at different levels within accounts, including executive and "C" level</li><li>Be a Trusted Adviser for customers and identify win/win situations<br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience</li><li>Ability to travel up to 30% of the time within assigned territory</li><li>4+ years of relevant experience</li><li>Previous SaaS sales experience preferred <br><br></li></ul><strong>Learn More<br><br></strong><strong>About Autodesk<br><br></strong>Welcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $113,400 and $203,280. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range.
