Full sales and product training will be provided. </span></span></b></p><p></p><p><b><span>Responsibilities</span></b></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of PerkinElmer’s food testing instrumentation portfolio.</li><li>Create and execute a strategic territory business plan to drive revenue growth in food testing capital equipment.</li><li>Manage all aspects of territory ownership, including prospecting, relationship development, opportunity management, and deal closure.</li><li>Conduct effective customer presentations, demonstrations, and seminars.</li><li>Build and maintain a healthy sales funnel, provide accurate forecasts, and consistently convert opportunities into revenue to achieve quota.</li><li>Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and ownership of results.</li><li>Travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight travel.</li><li>Maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.</li><li>Territory includes TN, AL, GA, SC, NC, and FL; preferred candidate location is GA, SC, or TN.</li><li>Exhibit a strong “hunter” mentality with a focus on new account development.</li></ul><p>Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time.
