YouTube Editor for 7-Part Spiritual Growth Series (100 Subs & Rising - Focused on Retention)

Other Jobs To Apply

No other job posts for this day.

I have a short Youtube series that needs to hold viewer retention.

I am a newer creator in the spiritual growth and personal development niche. I currently have around 100 subscribers, but the channel is experiencing real, organic momentum, gaining 3 subscribers just yesterday through a combination of YouTube Shorts and my latest long-form video. The algorithm is starting to find my seed audience.

To capitalize on this momentum, I have recorded a high-value 6-part video series (averaging 15 minutes per episode). I have done extensive due diligence on the backend: the videos are deeply researched, fully SEO-optimized, and structurally aligned across titles, captions, and my overall Google/YouTube metadata framework.

I need an editor who understands viewer retention and editorial storytelling to elevate the on-screen presentation, polish the pacing, and help this series maximize watch time so YouTube pushes it out to a massive audience.

Key Performance Targets:The 1-Minute Goal: Your primary metric is editing a hook that hits a 60%+ viewer retention rate at the 1-minute mark.

Overall Series Retention: You will be evaluated on your ability to maintain a 45%+ audience retention rate across the 15-minute timeline by keeping the viewer moving seamlessly from one point to the next.

What You’ll Do:Editorial Pacing & Trimming: watch the raw footage, and intentionally cut out repetitive thoughts, fluff, or dead spaces to keep the spiritual concepts moving efficiently.

Modern Visual Tools: You are encouraged to use clean on brand text overlays and AI image generation drop-ins to visually represent abstract mindset or spiritual topics where traditional stock footage falls short.

Maintain Series Flow: Implement consistent but subtle visual themes, pattern interrupts (zooms/pans), and color grading so the 7-part series feels like a cohesive, premium masterclass.

Atmospheric Sound Design: Copyright free Layer ambient music and intentional sound effects (SFX) that match the grounded, developmental, and impactful tone of the content.

What I’m Looking For:An editor excited to grow with a newer channel and treat this 7-part series as a major portfolio growth piece.A deep understanding of YouTube audience retention graphs and how editing choices directly fix viewer drop-off points.

Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

Genuine interest or comfort working with spiritual growth, mindfulness, and personal development content.

Application Requirements: To prove you have read this brief, please start your proposal with the secret keyword "LAUNCH".

Include:Links to 2–3 long-form YouTube videos you have edited. A brief note on how you would use AI imaging and text overlays to keep deep, abstract topics visually engaging.
