Job Title: Bookkeeper & Marketing Specialist

Must be experienced in Australian Bookkeeping and Social Media Marketing as this is a DUAL role- Agent must be experience in bookkeeping and marketing

About Our Client:

Our client is a small transport company based in Australia, actively seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bookkeeper and Marketing Specialist. Their mission is to maintain accurate financial records while enhancing marketing efforts to reignite their training business, which specializes in SME and StartUp training.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping Duties:

- Data Entry: Accurately input customer job data into the company’s database system.

- Staff Coordination: Follow up with staff to ensure timely submission of job sheets and thoroughly check for any errors.

- Data Verification: Review staff entries on job sheets to ensure all necessary data has been entered correctly.

- Billing: Prepare and process weekly and monthly billing based on client requirements, ensuring all data is complete for billing.

- Accounts Receivable: Follow up with debtors to ensure timely payments and manage receivables efficiently.

- Expense Management: Enter expenses and allocate them to the correct cost centers.

- Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

- Email Management: Monitor company emails and act on any urgent requests that arise.

- Miscellaneous Tasks: Handle other VA tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Marketing Responsibilities:

- LinkedIn Management: Execute LinkedIn tasks, including follow-ups and operating automated messaging campaigns. Training will be provided.

- Social Media Management: Schedule and post content across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

- Calendar Management: Organize and manage calendar events, ensuring timely follow-ups with team members regarding tasks.

- Content Creation & Design: Assist with graphic design and content creation to enhance marketing efforts.

- Video Editing: Support in video editing projects as needed.

- Email Campaigns & Funnels: Assist with email campaigns, landing pages, and funnel development (ideal but not essential).


Qualifications:

- Experience: Proven experience in bookkeeping and marketing roles, preferably within the transport or service industry.

- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of initiative are absolutely critical; candidates must demonstrate the ability to take charge of tasks without needing constant supervision.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and data entry systems, as well as familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with team members and clients.

- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

- Adaptability: Willingness to take on various tasks across both businesses and adapt to changing workloads.

Ideal but Not Essential Skills:

- Experience with personal authority posts, graphic design, content creation, and engagement strategies.

- Familiarity with funnels and landing pages, as well as email campaigns.

- Previous experience with Reddit and other niche marketing platforms.
