Job Summary This is a part-time remote position, requiring less than 4 hours of work per day, offering a competitive salary on an hourly basis. As a Remote Typist and Editor, you will work closely with our content creation team to ensure the accuracy and quality of our written materials. You will be responsible for transcribing and editing a variety of documents, formatting documents according to specified guidelines, and collaborating with the content team to ensure consistency and quality. Key Responsibilities Transcribe and type various documents quickly and accurately, ensuring grammatical accuracy and editing content to enhance clarity and coherence. Edit and proofread content to ensure it meets quality standards, adhering to specific style guides and client requirements. Format documents according to specified guidelines, maintaining a high standard of work at all times. Collaborate with the content team to ensure consistency and quality, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality output. Incorporate feedback from supervisors and clients, staying updated on industry trends and best practices in editing and transcription. Manage your time effectively, working independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Excellent typing skills with a minimum speed of 60 words per minute. Strong command of the English language with exceptional grammar and spelling skills. Proficiency in arenaflex Office Suite and arenaflex Docs. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, previous experience in a similar role is an advantage. A degree in English, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
