Lead ServiceNow Developer (Remote) - ICF International - Reston, VA - work from home job Company: ICF International Job description: *We are open to supporting 100% remote work anywhere within the U.S.* ICF’s IT Modernization division is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven department, seeking a motivated Lead ServiceNow Developer to support the upcoming needs of our federal customers. This position will be working directly with stakeholders, serving in both Business Analyst and Project Lead roles, and must be able to communicate effectively via phone and web conferencing as many stakeholders work remotely. In addition to supporting all phases of the project, this position will also be responsible for authoring content and peer reviewing a wide array of documents, including functional, technical, training as well as marketing, and proposals. Position Description As a Lead ServiceNow Developer you play a pivotal role in successfully deploying ServiceNow solutions for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and implementing ServiceNow applications to meet specific business requirements. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients. The position description for the ServiceNow Implementation Specialist role is as follows: Solution Configuration: Work closely with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to understand the functional requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow configurations. Configure and customize ServiceNow applications and modules to align with clients' needs and industry best practices. Technical Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement ServiceNow solutions. This includes setting up workflows, business rules, user interfaces, and automation to ensure smooth and efficient operation. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations to validate functionality, data integrity, and user experience. Address any issues and perform necessary adjustments to ensure the solution meets the desired outcomes. Data Migration: Facilitate data migration activities from legacy systems to ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy and consistency during the transition. Integration Management: Assist in the integration of ServiceNow with other systems and applications to create seamless end-to-end processes. User Training and Documentation: Provide end-user training to ensure a smooth adoption of the implemented solution. Create detailed documentation of the configuration and customization for future reference. Change Management: Support change management efforts by assisting users during the transition period, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. Incident and Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations. Collaborate with support teams to provide timely resolution to incidents and problems. Security and Compliance: Adhere to security best practices and ensure that implemented solutions meet relevant compliance requirements. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features, enhancements, and best practices to enhance the quality of implementations and maintain expertise in the platform. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, other implementation specialists, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination and effective communication. Requirements: Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification Active ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification Active CSM CIS, or the ability to obtain the certification within the first year of employment. 8 or more years of experience working as a developer or configuring of low code platforms. 5 or more years of experience as a ServiceNow Implementation Specialist or similar role, with hands-on experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications. 3 or more years of experience with CSM or App Engine 3 or more years of experience with custom application development including Custom Service Portal widget creation. 5 or more years of experience working and developing with JavaScript - HTML5, Jelly, jQuery, and AngularJS. 5 or more years of experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology. 3 or more years of Integration experience (SOAP, REST, and JSON as well as JDBC and file imports). 3 or more years of experience Administration of a ServiceNow instance including the management of users, groups, and roles, CMS Development, ACLs, business rules, workflows, UI actions, UI policies, dictionary, and catalog items Orchestration and Discovery experience is a plus.
