Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.
Experience with Epic is preferred.
Trauma Level 1 experience is required.
ASN completion required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
This role may require floating to additional units and locations
Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.
12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.
12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc), PCA pumps

Preferred Skills/Experience: Will you accept a first-time traveler? Not preferred but will consider (Resource Team)

Required Credentials: ASN/BSN

Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Free

Special Requests: RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend required. - Holiday Requirements: 75% of holidays required

Floating Requirements: - Within region and scope of practice - Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable Please see job posting for dedicated region and discuss the region that applies (will change per requisition)

- Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital) - Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
