We’re looking for a driven, relationship‑oriented Life Regional Sales Consultant to help accelerate growth and expand the impact of MassMutual’s industry‑leading life insurance solutions.<br><br>In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of driving sales by building strong partnerships with advisors, General Agents, and MMFA Brokerage teams. You’ll serve as a trusted expert and strategic partner—helping advisors bring meaningful life insurance solutions to their clients. Our team partners closely with MMFA firms, advisors, brokerage leaders, and management teams to deliver thoughtful guidance, deep expertise, and tailored solutions that meet clients’ evolving needs.<br><br>By collaborating with credentialed and experienced experts across the organization, we empower advisors to expand, diversify, and elevate their practices—while helping individuals and families plan for a more secure financial future.<br><br><strong>The Impact<br><br></strong>As a Life Regional Sales Consultant, you will make a direct and visible impact by:<br><br><ul><li>Partnering with advisors to deliver tailored life insurance solutions that meet client goals, supported by clear, compelling product insights and real‑world examples</li><li>Presenting confidently and effectively in both one‑on‑one and group settings—virtually and in person</li><li>Building and sustaining strong sales relationships across your assigned territory through proactive outreach, ongoing profiling, and strategic account management</li><li>Executing targeted activity plans that drive new opportunities and grow sales</li><li>Providing regular, thoughtful updates to sales leadership on territory activity and results</li><li>Monitoring territory performance to ensure alignment with broader business objectives</li><li>Managing travel and expenses effectively while maximizing your time in the field<br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>High school diploma </li><li>5+ years of experience in life insurance wholesale distribution</li><li>FINRA Series 6 at time of application </li><li>FINRA Series 63 at time of application or must obtain within 6 months</li><li>State Life and Health license at time of application</li><li>Ability to travel 25-50% </li><li>Must reside in TX, NM AZ, CO, OK, or KS<br><br></li></ul><strong>Ideal Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree</li><li>Industry Designations – CLU, ChFC, and/or CFP</li><li>2+ years of experience in an external wholesaling position</li><li>Proven track record of success with career and brokers and in achieving territory sales objectives</li><li>Demonstrated sales and presentation skills including strong negotiation skills</li><li>Success in building and maintaining strong relationships with centers of influence</li><li>Excellent knowledge of current life insurance products and industry</li><li>Superior verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal, team-oriented, organizational skills </li><li>Proven track record of developing sales results in assigned territory</li><li>Experience in all channels of life insurance distribution is optimal<br><br></li></ul><strong>Compensation:</strong> $62K-$70K base range plus sales-based incentive opportunity resulting in a total target compensation package of $185 - $256K.<br><br><strong>What You Can Expect At MassMutual<br><br></strong>MassMutual offers the opportunity to do meaningful work within a purpose-driven organization that values long-term impact over short-term outcomes.
