What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll help shape and strengthen OceanAir’s security posture by:

  • Supporting and continuously improving our Information Security Program (ISP)
  • Developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures
  • Identifying vulnerabilities across systems, networks, and applications and recommending solutions
  • Monitoring and responding to security incidents while helping minimize risk and impact
  • Conducting security assessments, audits, and penetration testing
  • Partnering with IT, compliance, and business teams to embed security into everyday operations
  • Supporting business continuity and resilience planning
  • Staying current on evolving cyber threats, tools, and regulatory requirements
  • Promoting security awareness through training and education initiatives
  • Preparing reports and insights for leadership and key stakeholders
  • Managing assigned projects, tickets, and priorities independently

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset. This role is in-person at our Oxnard Corporate office.


You’ll be successful if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of technology experience, including at least 3 years in cybersecurity
  • Working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
  • Experience with security tools like SIEM/EDR platforms, MS Defender, MS Entra, Intune, Darktrace, ManageEngine, or similar technologies
  • Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and threat analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams

Bonus points if you have:

  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar certifications
  • Experience in a regulated industry such as financial services or credit unions

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Full-time (40 hours per week), with occasional flexibility as needed
  • Minimal travel (up to 5%) for training or conferences
